Hours and staffing

Fully staffed. The station opens at 4:30 AM on weekdays and 5:30 AM on weekends, and closes at midnight daily. The CTrail (TASI) information desk in the main lobby is open Monday through Thursday 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Friday 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Amtrak ticket window, in the main lobby across from the CTrail TVM, is open weekdays 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM and weekends 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Tracks

One track (Track 1) serves all trains, reached by stairwell or elevator.

Ticket machines

TVMs 018 and 019 are in the main lobby next to the stairs to Track 1.

Parking

Surface lot at 2 Spruce Street, between Church Street and Asylum Street, 220 spaces, open 24/7, managed by ProPark (860-656-6288). Daily rate: first half hour 2 dollars, maximum daily (24 hours) 15 dollars. Monthly parking is 90 dollars and must be pre-registered and prepaid. There is no no-charge parking on weekends or federal holidays; regular rates apply. Pay at the kiosks by the exit (credit or debit cards only). To add days, contact ProPark.

Accessibility and facilities

Fully accessible building with ramps, one elevator in the main lobby, and accessible restrooms (locked at 10:30 PM, but staff can unlock them on request). Partially covered platform with benches. Bike racks and lockers are at the Spruce Street parking lot; the station is not responsible for bicycle damage or theft. Food: Subway and Sunlight Coffee Station, plus vending machines. Wi-Fi available. No station lockers, no charging stations.

Replacement bus

Buses pick up and drop off at Peter Pan Bus Gate 15, next to Spruce Street.

Picks up in front of the station on the Spruce Street side, across from the parking lot.

Station rules and nearby services

Solicitation, hand billing, and leafletting are prohibited on station premises. Dogs are allowed at the station. Car rentals nearby: Hertz (860-247-0044, Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM) and Budget (860-247-0482). Station management, Greater Hartford District: 860-247-5329.
