Hours and staffing

Unstaffed, owned by Amtrak, open 24/7.

Tracks

Track 1 is usually southbound (toward New Haven); Track 2 is usually northbound (toward Springfield).

Ticket machines

TVM 024 is on the Track 1 side, at the end of the brick walkway next to the platform.

Parking

Two surface lots, both open 24/7 and managed by Amtrak, no charge year-round. The Union Street lot has 17 spaces (near Track 1); the Central and Mechanic Street lot has 15 spaces (near Track 2).

Accessibility and facilities

The station building is permanently closed. ADA accessible station and trains, at ground level with no elevators or stairs. To reach the other track, walk to the end of the building where the rail crossing signals are and cross the tracks. Glass shelters with seating are on the platforms. No restrooms, no food or water.

Replacement bus

Pickup is on the Union Street side of the building. Look for the "Substitute Bus Pick-Up/Drop-Off" sign.

None at the station.
