Hours and staffing

Staffed. The station building is open 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM; you can board Shore Line East trains outside these hours.

Tracks

Tracks 1, 2, and 3. Track 2 is next to the parking lot and ticket office; Tracks 1 and 3 are reached via the pedestrian bridge.

Tickets

The Amtrak ticket window is in the red building next to Pizza Works, open 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. It sells Shore Line East and Amtrak tickets only; it does not sell Metro-North or Hartford Line tickets, and UniRail or combination tickets with the Hartford Line or Metro-North are not available here. No vending machines.

Train information displays

An interior board in the Amtrak office shows train schedules and track assignments. Platform announcements cover delays, cancellations, and track changes.

Parking

A mix of no-charge and paid parking, all in surface lots. The southwest corner of the larger parking area has 124 spaces, marked by signs and a flagpole at the entrance, with no charge for overnight parking. Another 200 spaces run along the south side by the tracks. No-charge daily parking for riders is available along both sides of 3 North Main Street, where overnight parking is not allowed. Long-term parking is available at no charge, with signs posted. Paid parking is by the shops, where an envelope is placed on the car for payment.

Accessibility and facilities

ADA accessible platforms and trains. Boarding assistance is available; visit the ticket window at least one hour before departure. Overhead shelters, seating, an elevator, and stairs via a pedestrian bridge. Restrooms, vending machines, and bike racks. Phone charging stations, Wi-Fi, and an ATM. No station lockers.

EV charging

Available at no cost.

Replacement bus

Buses pick up and drop off outside the ticket office, by Pizza Works.

Security

Security cameras are present.
