Amtrak Trains That Stop at Shore Line East Stations

Some Amtrak trains stop at Shore Line East stations and appear on the Shore Line East schedule. These are Amtrak trains - not Shore Line East - and have different ticketing rules. You can identify them by the blue columns and AMTK label on the Shore Line East schedule.

If you are boarding an Amtrak train:

  • One-way CTrail tickets are NOT accepted.
  • Ten-Trip or Monthly CTrail tickets are accepted, but only after completing the Amtrak RideReserve process first.
  • These trains may not stop at all Shore Line East stations - check the schedule for your specific train.

How to use RideReserve:

  1. Go to amtrak.com/ride-reserve or open the Amtrak app.
  2. Enter your CTrail ticket number and contact information.
  3. Select your Amtrak train from the Shore Line East schedule.
  4. Amtrak will email you a confirmation with your Amtrak ticket.

Reservations can be made up to 14 days before travel, based on your ticket's expiration date.
